Keyin College is very proud to acknowledge the ten (10) provincial 2009-2010 Successful Post-Secondary Transition Scholarship Award Winners.
The scholarship is open to permanent residents of the province who have graduated since 2009-10 from Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED) or the Comprehensive Arts and Science (CAS) College Transition program. To be eligible, individuals must also be enrolled in their first-year of a full-time program of studies in a public or private post-secondary institution leading to a degree, diploma or certificate.
“Once again, we would like to thank the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador for their focus on literacy development”, said Des Whelan, President of Keyin College. “These scholarships are very important to the students’ ability to further their education.”
