Brandon started volunteering with CMHA-NL in May 2019 while he was completing his Child & Youth Care Worker with Addictions Support post-secondary program at Keyin College, St. John’s campus.

Brandon took it upon himself to organize an ‘Essentials Drive’ to collect much-needed items for the members of Canadian Mental Health Association NL‘s Justice Program. Not only did Brandon succeed in achieving the goal he set, but his efforts also inspired others around him to connect, give back, and consider some of the factors that help promote good mental health, such as access to personal care products, food and housing security, transportation, communication, and more.

Congrats Brandon, you are K-Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food Volunteer of the Week.
